What is FIS

FIS is a student run finance organization at the University of Wisconsin. Our goal is to educate and prepare members for the corporate world by hosting a variety of events. These events include speaker events, professional development events and social events. FIS is designed to be a supplementary finance education for BBA students.

Executive Board

Jacob Asbjornson

Jacob Asbjornson

President

Jacob is a junior majoring in finance and risk management. This is his fifth semester in FIS. Jacob has been on the executive board the last two semesters serving as VP of Finance and VP of Internal Affairs. Jacob also serves as the VP of Finance for Hoofers. In his spare time, he enjoys snowboarding, pond hockey, and playing soccer. Jacob previously interned at the Bank of Sun Prairie and will be interning with Morningstar in Chicago this upcoming summer.

Jon Korger

Jon Korger

President Elect

Jon is a junior majoring in finance, real estate, and risk management. This is his third consecutive semester in the club and his second semester serving on the executive board. As President Elect, he’s excited to lead FIS next fall. In his free time, Jon enjoys cheering on the Packers, Badgers and Brewers. Jon previously interned with Dominium and will be working at Dell Technologies this upcoming summer.

Dylan Peckham

Dylan Peckham

Vice President of Finance

Dylan is a junior majoring in business management. This is his 4th semester in FIS and his first semester on the executive board. He is currently interning at UBS financial services in Madison and has previously worked as a management assistant in commercial real estate. Some of Dylan’s hobbies include fishing, baseball, hockey, and skiing.

Luke is a junior majoring in finance. This will be his forth semester in FIS and his first on the executive board. In his free time, Luke enjoys mountain climbing in California and Colorado.

Chili Chen

Vice President of Philanthropy

Chili is a sophomore pursing majors in finance and risk management with an additional certificate in computer science. This is his fourth semester in FIS. In his free time, Chili enjoys swimming, watching movies, and travelling. Chili is planning to intern in Shanghai for 3M China this coming summer.

Vice President of Operations

Matt is currently a sophomore majoring in finance and risk management. This will be his fourth semester in FIS and first semester on the executive board. Matt is also involved in Risk Management Insurance Society and the UW-Madison Club Golf Team. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports as well as spending time with family and friends.

Logan Schoen

Vice President of Professional Development


Logan is a sophomore majoring in finance and economics. This is his third semester in FIS and his first on the executive board. Logan is also active in the Capital Management Club. In his spare time, Logan enjoys hiking, golfing, and photography. Logan has two previous internships in accounting and is searching for a summer internship in the management consulting field.

Vice President of Professional Affairs

Jacquelyn is a sophomore from the Twin Cities area and is currently majoring in finance and accounting. This is her third semester in FIS and her first semester on the executive board. Jacquelyn spends her free time working at coffee shops, spending time downtown, and watching Netflix. This summer she will be working as a finance intern for 3M at their headquarters in Maplewood, MN.

Maggie Sharf

Vice President of Social Affairs

Maggie is a junior majoring in marketing with a certificate in supply chain management. This will be her sixth semester in FIS and her first semester on the executive board. In her free time, Maggie enjoys baking and cheering for Badger athletics. Maggie previously interned with the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce, and recently started another internship with the UW Athletic Department.
